    Tender & True Turkey & Liver Recipe for dogs is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages except for growth of large size dogs (70 lb. or more as an adult).

    For puppies (to six months):

    2-10 lbs.; 1/3 - 1 1/4 Cup

    11-15 lbs.; 1 1/3 - 1 2/3 Cups

    16-20 lbs.; 1 1/2 - 2 Cups

    21-25 lbs.; 2 - 2 1/4 Cups

    26-50 lbs.; 2 1/3 - 3 3/4 Cups

    For Adults (To 10 Years and Active)

    2-10 lbs.; 1/4 - 3/4 Cup

    11-15 lbs.; 3/4 - 1 1/4 Cups

    16-20 lbs.; 1 - 1 1/2 Cups

    21-25 lbs.; 1 1/3 - 1 7/8 Cups

    26-50 lbs.; 1 1/2 - 2 2/3 Cups

    51-75 lbs.; 2 1/2 - 3 Cups

    *Measurements are based on a standard 8 oz. measuring cup.

    Recommended guidelines. Individual amounts may vary depending on animal activity and overall health and age.

    • Feed pregnant dogs up to 50% more during the last three weeks of pregnancy
    • Puppies less than six months old and lactating females require twice the amount of food as an adult dog and should be fed 3-4 times a day.
    • Puppies six months to a year should be fed twice daily.
    • Senior and overweight dogs may be fed a reduced amount depending on dog's weight and activity level.
    • Grain free diets may not be suitable for all dogs. If you have any dietary concerns, please consult your veterinarian.

    My dogs can’t get enough

    I have two rescue dogs one dog and one small. They love this food so much that we give it to them as treats as well as meals! So hard to find organic dog food and this is the best!

    Since you didn't have the Chicken & Liver food, the Border Collies are having a difficult time adjusting to the turkey. One has now taken to a different brand of food, but the other collie can't eat that particular food. We are hoping that the Turkey & Liver will work for her. We are instilling it slowly, but she seems to have developed an itch, also, she has vomited a few times. We have had them with us for 3 years (one is now 12--the other 11) and this is the first time she has vomited.

    Tender and True ORGANIC dry dog food

    We recently got a new puppy late last year and she is not considered just a dog but a family [human] member. With that said, we spent many countless hours on the web reading all the various dog food company reviews. When we came about Tender and True dog food and found out that they sell organic and it is USDA certified, we were sold! Thus, we feel that your organic dog food is the safest for our dog and perhaps will lead to a healthy, happy, and long life!
