    Tender & True Chicken & Liver Recipe for dogs is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages except for growth of large size dogs (70 lb. or more as an adult).

    For puppies (to six months):

    2-10 lbs.; 1/3 - 1 1/4 Cup

    11-15 lbs.; 1 1/3 - 1 2/3 Cups

    16-20 lbs.; 1 1/2 - 2 Cups

    21-25 lbs.; 2 - 2 1/4 Cups

    26-50 lbs.; 2 1/3 - 3 3/4 Cups

    For Adults (To 10 Years and Active)

    2-10 lbs.; 1/4 - 3/4 Cup

    11-15 lbs.; 3/4 - 1 1/4 Cups

    16-20 lbs.; 1 - 1 1/2 Cups

    21-25 lbs.; 1 1/3 - 1 7/8 Cups

    26-50 lbs.; 1 1/2 - 2 2/3 Cups

    51-75 lbs.; 2 1/2 - 3 Cups

    76-100 lbs.; 3 - 5 Cups

    *Measurements are based on a standard 8 oz. measuring cup.

    Recommended guidelines. Individual amounts may vary depending on animal activity and overall health and age.

    • Feed pregnant dogs up to 50% more during the last three weeks of pregnancy
    • Puppies less than six months old and lactating females require twice the amount of food as an adult dog and should be fed 3-4 times a day.
    • Puppies six months to a year should be fed twice daily.
    • Senior and overweight dogs may be fed a reduced amount depending on dog's weight and activity level.
    • Grain free diets may not be suitable for all dogs. If you have any dietary concerns, please consult your veterinarian.

    Dogs won't touch it.

    My dogs won't touch it. Bought all different treats and they won't touch those either. Was hoping this would have been my go to food brand.

    Food was stale

    We have loved tender & true for our dog until the last shipment. Unfortunately this shipment was not not eaten by my dog because it was stale. Dog has loved this kibble until this time. Our dog is however eating other brand kibbles, which confirmed it was just this shipment.

    Your product looked and smelled great. Unfortunately our picky poodles did not like it. Why don’t you guys try making just a beef liver dog food? Dogs love liver that’s why I purchased yours.
